Thanksgiving Feast Thursday, November 25, 2021 Waldorf Salad and Ambrosia Salad Young Roast Turkey w/ Dressing Honey Glazed Ham w/ Pineapple Sauce The meal comes complete with jerk seasoned turkey, house made gravy, green beans, brioche stuffing, cranberry-pineapple chutney and your choice of mashed potatoes or cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes. It's good old fashioned country cookin' served family style to your table. The night we ate our entrees included Fried Catfish Nuggets, Shrimp, and Chicken, Salisbury Steak and Country Ham. The sides were Broccoli, Cabbage, Sweet Potato, Mashies & Gravy and green beans. The meal includes your beverage and dessert. 3 of us had high expectations for an awesome Thanksgiving meal. When we arrived after a 2 hour drive, we knew the wait would be long. I went in to get our number and was told the wait was about an hour. 3 long hours later, we were seated in a cold restaurant. The food was mediocre at best...definitely not worth 3 hours or the 2 hours to get there. The wonderful view of the pastures and rolling mountains and short distance to the pool, pond and tennis courts makes The Dillard House the perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation. Also, many of the Dillard area events provide fun and unique experiences for all ages. This year, we will be offering Thanksgiving Day dining exclusively for our hotel guests.
