After more than 15 years of promising (or threatening, you pick) to turn his own "Grindhouse" faux promo, "Thanksgiving," into the real deal, writer/director Eli Roth has finally gone and done... Roth originally created a semi-serious, semi-parody THANKSGIVING trailer for the 2007 movie GRINDHOUSE, which combined two feature-length films (by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez) with some fake trailers by notable filmmakers. Roth has talked on and off about making a real THANKSGIVING movie for years. Between the two films, Grindhouse includes five fake trailers that parody different genres. Roth's fake trailer for Thanksgiving quickly became a fan favorite due to its campy gore and salacious nudity. While the premise of "Thanksgiving" scans like a goofy spoof of other holiday-inspired slashers like "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th," the footage we've seen thus far has played the premise...
