Kicking off since 1976, this event has grown to become a beloved Thanksgiving tradition for families and friends. In heartfelt tribute, we renamed this race to honor the inspiring Sam Lapidus, who valiantly fought Ewing’s Sarcoma. Join us for the 43rd annual Sam Lapidus Montclair Run on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28th at the Levite Jewish Community Center. Registration is open now for this extremely fun and rewarding, family-friendly, community event. This event will be held (in person) on Thanksgiving Day, come and run either a 5k or 10k before the stuffing begins. There will be no (race shirts) let me say that again, you will not receive a race shirt. Now hosting approximately 1500 runners of all ages, the SLMR serves as a Thanksgiving tradition for many families and out-of-town visitors.
