The city of Long Beach has launched a “Season of Giving” campaign to encourage volunteer opportunities and donations this holiday season and throughout the winter. Here are some options they recommend: There are many ways for families to get involved. Donate funds, donate your time to assist the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, volunteer on Thanksgiving Day, and/or donate goods. Check the website for all the details.
