Join us for the Gobble Wobble Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in beautiful Seattle, King County! This exciting annual Thanksgiving event invites runners and walkers of all ages and paces to participate in a fun-filled 5K, 10K, or half-marathon (13.1 miles). From Magnuson to Mukilteo, the region's profusion of Turkey Trots this year means runners, walkers and even waddlers can gobble gobble without guilt. Why it matters: A good Turkey Day run or walk allows you to burn calories for good causes. The big picture: We've rounded up a handful of Thanksgiving Day trots in the Seattle area. Bring your family and friends to run, jog, or walk through the stunning Washington Park Arboretum on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish peoples. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or simply want to join for the joy of community, everyone is welcome to partake in this fun and meaningful event! Come to EATT for Thanksgiving! The English Hill Annual Turkey Trot (EATT) is a Thanksgiving day tradition in our community, raising donations for Seattle Children’s Hospital. You, your family, friends, and neighbors are invited to join this free 5K or 1K fun run. Please bring the jogging stroller or push yourself for a personal best. Seattle Turkey Trot has been associated with Ballard Food Bank from the beginnings of the race, when a small group of friends decided 15 years ago to do a fun run together on Thanksgiving. They turned it into a fundraiser; it grew each year until the food bank took on the logistics and promotion. The Thanksgiving Day Apple Cup 5K is on Thursday November 28, 2024. The Magnuson Series invites you to come run, walk, jog or however you get across the finish line. We offer events all year long. Our course is a 5k loop (USATF Certified) that you can run one, two or three times. We also offer special event days where you can participate in a duathlon, obstacle race, or half marathon distance. Race Day (Thanksgiving Day) Schedule: 7:45AM - 9:10AM: Bib Pickup at Green Lake softball fields (East side of Green Lake - Look for Hi5K Tents). You may also drop off any canned food items you'd like to donate at this time. Day-Of-Race registration available at this time as well.
