The 17th Annual BC Thanksgiving Food Drive is approaching during the week of September 16th to 21st. Volunteers will be leaving bags at numerous front doors to assist in stocking local Food Banks with essential supplies. The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive delivers food and financial support to local food banks throughout British Columbia. In 2024, our volunteers will be collecting food in more than one hundred communities across the province! Making a difference for those who struggle with food security in our communities has never been easier — the 17th annual BC Thanksgiving Food Drive will be coming right to your doorstep during the week of Sept. 16 through to the 21. The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive is an annual event that collects food for Food Banks all over BC. Each year in September, thousands of volunteers across the province assist with getting donated food to their local food bank. The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive (BCTFD) is back for 2024 and needs your help. The BCTFD Project is a provincewide initiative that helps feed thousands across B.C. who rely on food banks for their basic nutritional needs. The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive started in 2008. Church leadership recognized the need to support the local Food Banks in that area. It was clear that many volunteers in their area were more than willing to assist with the collection of food by going door to door representing the local Food Bank.
