When we give thanks to him from our hearts, God is magnified. Gratitude glorifies God. Why does it? The answer is simple: Givers are more glorious than receivers. Benefactors are more glorious than beneficiaries. How we need to Give Thanks to God with a Grateful Heart! For Christians, Thanksgiving Day is a chance to ask God for forgiveness for our sins, repent for our disobedience, and express gratitude for all He has given us. Give thanks to God for he is good, and doeth good. Give thanks to God; let not your gratitude stop short of the source from which the streams of mercy come. Closing. Thanksgiving should not correspond with the feast that we have once a year. It should be our daily sustenance. Thanksgiving is not an optional activity, but it flows from a heart ...
