Closed on Sundays, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Hours are seasonal and vary from venue to venue. It is located along I-15 between Salt Lake City and Provo. The dinosaurs move and make sounds, and are a dinosaur lover’s dream. We were pleasantly surprised at how much everyone in our family loved Dinosaur Island at Thanksgiving Point. A standard in Utah county for years, this place offers lots of activities for kids and families. It is pricey unless you have the season pass or know someone with one. Thanksgiving Point is a 501(c)(3) non-profit indoor and outdoor farm, garden, and museum complex in Lehi, Utah, United States. Its five main attractions include Ashton Gardens, Butterfly Biosphere, Farm Country, Museum of Ancient Life, and Museum of Natural Curiosity. Dinosaur Island will be open in the Ashton Gardens from May 27 to August 26, 9 am to 9 pm, Monday through Saturday. The Ashton Gardens are located at 3900 N Garden Drive in Lehi, Utah. Dinosaur Island is a time-ticketed event and guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. This summer-long event, hosted from May 27 to August 26, will bring a collection of 32 massive animatronic dinosaurs to the Ashton Gardens, transforming it into a virtual parade of prehistoric species that move and roar for visitors.
