Volunteers are needed to assist families as they pick up a Thanksgiving meal. We need help both inside and outside. Check out the details for the many different opportunities. This year’s Thanksgiving Blessing is Monday, November 25th! Catholic Social Services will be helping to distribute meals at St. Patrick’s Parish at 2111 Muldoon Rd. Anchorage, AK 99504, and we’ll need your help! For more details or to sign up to volunteer, click the button above. For over 20 years, Thanksgiving Blessing puts faith into action and brings together people of good will for a common goal: provide a Thanksgiving meal for families who might otherwise go without. Help us to serve a feast this Thanksgiving day! Tasks will include serving meals, clearing plates, and cleaning up. The 2nd lunch shift will include more clean-up tasks. Breakfast: 8am-10am; Thanksgiving Lunch: 11:30am-1:30pm; Leftover Dinner: 4pm-6pm; Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to volunteer in meal service.
