Food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, and faith groups offer free Thanksgiving meals. Learn how to find a free thanksgiving meal near you. Thanks to generous donations from individuals and local businesses, we are able to provide a free Thanksgiving dinner to anyone who wishes to attend—whether they are residents, visitors, or just passing through our city. These hot meals can be delivered or served at Friendship Hall in downtown Montrose. You are invited to eat a free Thanksgiving dinner at any of eight Salvation Army locations in Minnesota and North Dakota. The St. Cloud Salvation Army assists Central Minnesota residents with a wide range of basic needs services. Shiloh Cares Food Shelf will once again give away free turkeys on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will feature Public Safety Commissioner Dr. Cedric Alexander and offer free gun locks, Narcan kits, and other community violence intervention resources. For those in need, several community resources are offering free Thanksgiving meals and baskets across Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Carver, and Scott counties. From meal services to take-home baskets filled with holiday essentials, these programs are here to lend a helping hand this season. We are happy to provide a free traditional Thanksgiving meal to anyone who wants it.
